Both of you are a pair of investigative journalists, and as such you’re on the hunt, following clues that may lead to the secrets behind the murder of a pregnant woman dubbed “Jane Doe.” It seems at this point, you’ve been led into the Arizona desert somewhere, and in it you’ll discover corruption and darkness that threatens your sanity. You are Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with your wife, Lynn.
Even if its ambitious themes don’t always land and navigating through its world can be frustratingly. In the trailer, you’ll be playing as cameraman Blake Langermann alongside your in-game wife, Lynn. Outlast 2 is a terrifying sequel that builds upon the scares of the 2013 original. This game, obviously, is the sequel to the original Outlast title according to the studio behind it, the game is set in the same universe as the original Outlast, but you’ll be seeing different characters and a different setting within it. Game demos like this aren’t uncommon - we recently got one for the upcoming Resident Evil game, for example, and there was that Silent Hills ‘playable trailer’ that got pulled - but unlike some of them, the Outlast II demo is only available for a limited time.
